Situated just off the A5 between Betws-y-Coed and Llangollen, this is a perfect location for exploring the whole of North Wales including Snowdonia, the North Wales coast, and the Welsh Borderlands. Tyn y Wern itself sits on the slopes of a lightly wooded valley, overlooking the river Ceirw, and is the perfect base for riding out with your horse. There is ample private parking.
There are also numerous attractions in the area including steam railways at Llangollen and Ffestiniog, castles at Conwy and Caernarfon, and Ewe-phoria sheepdog centre which is just down the road. As well as horseriding, this part of Wales is ideal for mountain biking, walking, birdwatching, or just sightseeing. Fishing is available by arrangement in the river near the farmhouse. |
